About Ross
I am an enthusiastic and fully qualified teacher looking for tutoring jobs in and around Dorking. I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a PGDipEd Secondary (QTS) in Geography and received my BSc Geography 2.1 (Hons) from the University of Bristol before that. I have 4 years of teaching experience include A-level. Although I have specialised in Geography, I have also studied and achieved good grades in; Maths, Biology, and Physics in the IB (equivalent to A-level). I have tutored iGCSE geography as well as teaching GCSE AQA and A-level Edexcel and AQA geography during which I had to tailor my lessons to suit the needs of individuals within those classes. This will be made easier when the group size is drastically reduced and I can entirely base the lesson around the ability of each tutee.

My teaching method is completely dependent on the ability of the student. I will approach each topic individually and gauge how the student responds. My priority will be to make each lesson student led and also to make the sessions enjoyable as I believe that it will make the knowledge gained more memorable and encourage the development of understanding each concept.
