About Emily
Currently I am a third year university student studying law and am a keen tutor. Having achieved top grades throughout my school education and into university, I keep up to date with the current course structure and curriculum in secondary schools to provide excellent tutoring sessions. I have previously tutored students in languages and chemistry and am now expanding my tutoring to high school biology as well. I have great interpersonal skills and am very professional and I really enjoy seeing my students achieving good grades.

I tailor my lessons to the students individual needs. My first lesson involves getting to know the student's approach to studying for their subject and where their strengths and weaknesses are. To find out where their strengths and weaknesses lie I will usually prepare a list of questions related to the student's subject so that I can see how they get on. From there, I can plan my next lessons by focusing on their weaker topic areas whilst recapping on topics which they excel in. I find giving the student questions to focus on as homework is very beneficial and also shows where they need extra help.
