About Ruth

A retired Information Systems and Accounting professional, certified as an ESL teacher. (certification with International TEFL Academy and the Mexican Government). I speak Spanish, some French and German. A native English speaker who wants to help others learn so they can flourish at school, socially and in the business world.

About the lesson

I use the communicative approach, encouraging students to speak as much as possible through activities. I concentrate on correct pronunciation, and proper grammatical usage. Reading is also a cornerstone to learning English and I provide suggested articles and encourage reading outside of class as much as possible.

Perfect! She is the best teacher I've ever had in my life. I am not just saying that she is a good teacher.

I studied business with her for about two months since I am changing jobs . She shared all the business experiences with me which helped me understand better and every lesson impressed me.

She never begins her lesson without coming up with a perfect lesson plan which is personalized for each student. You can definitely tell that she spares a lot of time to prepare for the teaching materials and I found every lesson so valuable.

Whatever your goal is, she will guide you to the fastest way to master it.
