I use the communicative language learning approach as my teaching method. My lessons are based on materials within and around us. I approach my topics with confidence, structure and flexibility. I have the skill of engaging effectively with learners.
I prefer to teach concepts to build a strong base, and then build with examples. I encourage students to tackle questions by breaking them down and working through them by technique, rather than rote learning. I prefer to be approachable as I believe no question is to small to ask. Furthermore, as a researcher, I always encourage students to ask: "why".
My teaching approach is The "Demonstrator", or "coach" style where I retain the formal authority role by showing students what they need to know. The demonstrator is a lot like the lecturer, but the lessons include multimedia presentations, activities, and demonstrations which gives me opportunities to incorporate a variety of formats including lectures and multimedia presentations.
My teaching methods are basically customized as per the requirement of an individual's learning needs as every learner has its own level. I completely focus on the weak points of the candidate which afterwards deal with my creative learning strategies. My classes are designed for every age group and professional.
I have a broad range of methods including TPR (Total Physical Response) for teaching and supporting English language learners of all ages, helping them to meet set goals. I strive to make the learning process interactive, exciting, and fun. Having lived and worked outside Canada for over 20 years I am able to communicate across cultural lines and adapt to student needs.
I believe a successful teacher should be adaptable to a particular student's needs. Any given style may work with one student but not with another one. Participation on the student's side is essential for him/her to grasp the material being taught. To achieve this, I rely on hand's on activities, role-playing and practical use of language.
I tailor my teaching style to the individual needs of each student. I believe that each student learns slightly differently, so I am flexible and accommodating. I have frequently custom designed lesson plans and practice assignments based on unique needs.
Regardless of how diligently you study independently, you will never achieve fluency in English if you don’t interact with native-born speakers. Productive and Receptive skills are interdependent. I therefore use interrogative metodology to help you develop better speaking /writing and reading/listening skills.
I enjoy teaching in a small group or one on one. With a smaller class, lessons can be tailored to the learner and are meaningful and successful for the student. No matter what the age of my students, maybe the lessons are interactive and fun, yet structured with an academic goal in mind.
My teaching methods tend to start out casual, in order to get an understanding of where the student is at, and then to proceed from there. I like to use supplemental materials like books that interest my students in order to help thme advance their skills and confidence in themselves. I have worked with elementary, middle, high school, and university students previously.
I provide lessons online, or in a student's home. I approach each lesson with confidence and integrity, ensuring that the needs of each student are appropriately met to help them further their abilities and education and to become proficient in the English language.
Create engaging and thematic classroom lessons to suit the needs of the students Integrate theoretical concepts and practical ideas, and apply them to actual classroom solutions Excellent inter-personnel, critical thinking, analytical, problem solving and relationship building skills to inspire students to pursue academic and personal excellence
As a teacher, I like to try to provide a foundation for the desire and enthusiasm to learn throughout the student’s life, and to help them see learning as a positive experience.
I make sure my methods are relevant to each students lives and goals, that I am targeting their individual needs and how they learn best, and using many different entry points so students can feel successful at all levels.
Conversation based learning techniques with thematic units that are supported by reading and writing assignments. I won't take up our face to face time with silly exercises that waste time we will get the most of our time together with REAL teaching.
My teaching methods are focussed on helping students gain confidence in conversing in English. I have various games developed to help students remember words they learn and also how to practice speaking English. I like to adapt my methods based on an individual's needs.
I design my lessons based on the wants and needs of my students. I start my classes by reviewing the previous material learned, then clearly state the objectives of the day's class, and have student's practice what they have learned for the rest of the class.
For ESL i use the listening speaking and writing tools to get them proficient in English. I ask them to watch videos and and answer the questions as well as read books and create thier own speeches and summary and essays.
I am a child-centered or student-centered teacher for i believe in learning by doing or learners learn easily through experiences.
I approach my lessons with flexibility. Once I introduce a topic, I proceed to other activities depending on student response. Introducing various activities around a specific topic, I ensure the relevance of the topic to real life is appreciated.
I enjoy fun interactive lessons using multiple methods from interactive games to vocabulary building.
Focusing on all English language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with emphasis placed on skills that require more attention.
I prefer task based learning where students participate in tasks including reading, listening, writing and speaking and then get personal lessons to improve their written and spoken English.
I believe in individualization of education and collaborative learning between teacher and student. Learners should have agency over the direction of their overall knowledge journey.
My teaching method will be online or at my own house or any library nearby which is convenient for both the student and myself
My classes are full of fun and enthusiasm. I teach language uniquely with out of the box ideas. My approach is to make learning easy and fast.
My methodology is based on integrated ESL lessons involving reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar. Based on topic i.e. social, workplace, upgrading and/or individual strands i.e. grammar, listening etc.
I approach my lesson planning based on the students ability to absorb the lessons. My approach is to make the lessons fun and engaging so the student learns without feeling over/ underwhelmed. Learning should be a fun experience.
My teaching methods include learning while having fun. I believe that is essential to obtaining results and for retention. I base my classes and lesson plans around the clients needs and learning style. I am versatile in my approach to suit my students.
Once I introduce myself to a student, I can then gain an understanding of that students learning style. My classes will then be built and based on their level and their interests. This will make classes practical, engaging and successful in communication.
