About Rita

I graduated from University of Toronto and I am TESL certified. I have been teaching ESL for the past 10 years and I have been teaching IELTS for the past 6 years
I have taught students one on one, all the way up to groups of 20.
I have had a lot of success with my IELTS students, many of them have passed the IELTS test with a high score and have moved on to college

About the lesson

I normally base my classes on what is most necessary for the student to work on. I use a variety of methods, such as technology, conversation, work sheets and presentations. I often give a short lesson and then students will work on what they have learned
I like my classes to have a fun, comfortable atmosphere

I've had Rita as my IELTS teacher in 2014 for 4 months. She right away found out the common mistakes I tend to make, and gave me some tequnics and exercises.
I got 1 point higher for all bands of IELTS exam after 4 months of training with her.

She speaks English, Spanish and Italian fullurntly, so she knows how to learn the languages efficiently, I believe that skill is one of the reasons she is a great ESL teacher.
After all her help, I could get a job and be a permanent residency in Canada. She helped me through to be a part of society in Canada.
I defenatly recommend her as a tutor!
