About Tania
I am passionate about helping children and youth identify their strengths, acquire new skills, and develop a love of learning. As a learning strategist at The Budding Elm in Victoria BC, my goal is to attain results based on research, tried-and-true methodologies, and practical applications. I teaches lessons that may be used on a daily basis to help learners thrive both academically and in the world around them. I believe personalizing education to meet the individual needs of students makes the learning process empowering and productive. Since the completion of my Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Education degrees, I have enjoyed working with diverse groups of children and youth as a program coordinator and teacher. My passion for teaching and my personal attributes of compassion, adaptability, and dedication are apparent when working with students.

Enrichment can be provided in a number of different ways to allow advanced learners the opportunity to work at or above grade level.
Research shows that differentiated lessons enhance learning outcomes for students. Sessions are designed to provide multiple opportunities to acquire and apply new skills and strategies.
