About Mehlam
I have a degree in Business Administration from York University and I've taught English for 3 years in mainland China. Specifically, I've taught Oral/Spoken English as well as Business English to first and second year university students in Henan province and Guangdong.

My classes are structured, but also flexible. I prefer centering my classes around a particular topic and then constructing scenarios to help students explore that topic more fully. Topics could include (but are not limited to) -
1) Asking for directions
2) In a meeting
3) Job Interviews
My emphasis is on conversational fluency and allowing students to intuitively grasp grammar. I prefer to not inundate them with a multitude of grammar rules, instead preferring to develop their mental 'muscle memory'.
