About Clara
Clara Lin is a Vancouver-based pianist, vocalist, and music educator whose work blends jazz, funk, Latin, and classical influences into a deeply expressive and groove-driven sound.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music, and a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the University of Northern Colorado.
As a performer, Clara leads a trio exploring rhythm, storytelling, and emotional nuance. As a teacher, she specializes in helping students develop strong listening skills, musical intuition, and creative confidence at the piano.
Her teaching goes beyond traditional methods—integrating improvisation, play-based learning, and stylistic exploration. She believes music is not just something to be practiced, but something to be felt, understood, and lived.
Whether working with young beginners or adult learners, Clara creates a supportive and inspiring space where students can discover their own musical voice.
