About Urvi

My interest in data organization and spreadsheet tools began during my university studies in Business Analytics. I was fascinated by how data could be organized and analyzed to support decision making. After completing my Bachelor’s degree, I began teaching students how to use Excel to manage and interpret information effectively. Over the past 5 years, I have helped learners build confidence in using spreadsheet tools.

I believe that technology education should be simple and practical. Many students initially feel unsure when they see spreadsheets filled with numbers and formulas. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation and step-by-step practice so learners can understand each feature gradually. By working through real examples, students learn how Excel can simplify everyday tasks.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new data tools and reading about modern business technologies. Staying updated helps me bring practical knowledge into my lessons. Helping students develop useful spreadsheet skills is very rewarding because these abilities are valuable in many academic and professional environments.

About the lesson

Excel is a powerful tool for organizing information and performing calculations efficiently. My lessons focus on helping students understand how spreadsheets can simplify data management. We begin by exploring the structure of Excel, including cells, rows, columns, and formatting features. Students learn how information can be organized clearly so that it becomes easy to read and analyze.

During lessons, I guide learners through important Excel tools such as formulas, sorting data, filtering results, and creating simple charts. Functions like SUM, AVERAGE, and COUNT are explained step by step so students understand how calculations work. Practice activities allow learners to apply these tools while working with small datasets. I encourage students to experiment with spreadsheet features because hands-on practice helps them become more comfortable with the software.

As students continue learning, they begin to see Excel as a practical tool that can assist with school assignments, personal projects, and professional tasks. Understanding spreadsheets helps learners manage information more effectively and present results clearly. My goal is to make each lesson structured and practical so students gain useful skills they can apply in many situations.
