About Brett
My enthusiasm for Excel began with recognizing its power to organize, analyze, and communicate complex data effectively. I earned a B.Sc in Information Systems and an M.Sc in Data Analytics, gaining extensive experience in both theoretical and applied data management. Over 10 years, I have taught students of various backgrounds to become confident, skilled, and efficient Excel users.
I believe Excel education should be practical, interactive, and outcome-driven. Many learners struggle with abstract functions or complex datasets, so I focus on hands-on practice, real-world examples, and iterative problem-solving. Lessons are tailored to student goals, learning pace, and application needs, ensuring both mastery and engagement.
Outside teaching, I explore data visualization, analytics projects, and Excel innovations. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I see learners gain analytical capability, accuracy, and confidence in using data to make informed decisions. Supporting students as they become proficient, independent, and empowered with Excel skills is the most fulfilling part of my work.
