About Aubrey

My interest in spreadsheet tools developed while studying how digital software helps people manage and analyze large amounts of information. I became fascinated by the ability of Excel to perform complex calculations and present data through clear tables and charts. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Information Technology followed by a Master’s in Information Systems.

During the past 7 years, I have worked with students and professionals who wanted to improve their Excel skills. Many learners initially feel confused when they see formulas or large spreadsheets. Because of this, I focus on teaching concepts step by step so students can understand each tool and gradually build confidence.

My teaching approach emphasizes practical demonstrations and regular exercises. I encourage learners to experiment with formulas and data tools so they become comfortable using Excel in different situations. Teaching Excel is rewarding because it helps learners develop valuable technical skills that can support their careers.

About the lesson

My Excel lessons are designed to help learners understand how spreadsheet tools can be used to organize information, perform calculations, and analyze data effectively. Many people use Excel only for basic tasks, but the software offers many powerful features that can simplify complex work. In my lessons, I explain how formulas, tables, and charts work so students can use Excel with confidence.

Lessons are structured according to the learner’s current level of knowledge. Beginners learn how to enter data, format cells, and perform basic calculations using simple formulas. Intermediate learners explore commonly used functions such as SUM, AVERAGE, and IF while learning how to sort and filter information efficiently. Advanced students study pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization techniques that help analyze large datasets and create clear reports.

Excel becomes an important skill when students understand how it can improve productivity and simplify many everyday tasks. My goal is to help learners develop strong spreadsheet skills so they can apply them in academic projects, office work, and professional environments.
