About Nohr

My journey with Excel began when I saw how spreadsheets can bring clarity, structure, and efficiency to real-world decision making. I earned a B.Sc in Management Information Systems and later completed an M.Sc in Data Operations Analytics, which strengthened my understanding of data organization and reporting systems. Over 7 years of teaching, I have guided learners in building Excel skills that support both academic success and professional growth.

I believe Excel is best learned through practice and real examples rather than memorization of isolated commands. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step explanation, patience, and supportive guidance so learners feel comfortable experimenting. I encourage students to ask questions openly and gain confidence through consistent application.

Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with data tools through reporting projects, productivity exploration, and continual learning of new spreadsheet features. Teaching Excel is rewarding because students often see immediate improvement. Supporting learners as they master such a practical skill is deeply fulfilling.

About the lesson

Excel becomes a powerful skill when learners realize it is not just about entering numbers, but about organizing information and creating clear insights. In my lessons, I guide students through formulas, logical functions, data organization, charts, pivot tables, and reporting methods with practical and supportive instruction. I focus on helping learners build confidence in handling real academic and workplace data tasks.

Lessons are structured around each learner’s needs. Beginners learn formatting, basic calculations, and essential functions like SUM, IF, and COUNTIF. Intermediate students strengthen skills with lookup formulas, conditional formatting, structured tables, and data validation. Advanced learners explore pivot-based dashboards, automation basics, financial modeling foundations, and workflow efficiency techniques. Every session includes hands-on exercises and feedback so skills become long-lasting.

Excel lessons build organization, analytical thinking, and workplace readiness. Many students feel empowered when they realize they can manage complex data with ease. My goal is to help learners become confident and capable in one of the most valuable modern productivity tools.
