About Julien

I am a dedicated Spanish tutor with 11+ years of experience teaching High School and College students. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with around 150 students, helping them strengthen their understanding of Spanish and develop confidence in using the language. I believe teaching is not only about sharing knowledge but also about inspiring students to believe in themselves.

My teaching philosophy is built on simplicity, encouragement, and continuous improvement. I explain every topic using clear examples and easy language so students never feel overwhelmed. My lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, reading, writing, and listening through practical activities that encourage active learning. Every student receives personal guidance and regular feedback based on their progress.

I enjoy creating lessons that connect Spanish with everyday situations. Through conversations, stories, games, and cultural discussions, students discover how the language is used in real life. Regular practice sessions help them remember concepts and gradually improve their fluency.

Helping around 150 students improve their grades and communication skills has been one of the highlights of my career. Watching learners become confident speakers and independent learners gives me great satisfaction. Their progress inspires me to continue growing as a tutor.

My goal is to provide every student with a positive learning experience where they feel supported, challenged, and motivated to reach their full potential in Spanish.

About the lesson

I approach teaching Spanish with a methodology that is student-focused, interactive, and practical. Accountability ensures learners take responsibility for their learning, set achievable goals, and monitor progress. Integrity guarantees lessons are honest, fair, and customised to each student’s strengths and challenges.

I embrace Flexibility, adapting lesson plans, exercises, and strategies to match different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal goals. Communication is central; I encourage active discussion, conversation, and interactive exercises to help students internalise grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates milestones, and fosters confidence. I also integrate related subjects such as literature, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide context and practical application. My goal is to help students gain fluency, confidence, and a lasting passion for Spanish.
