About Edward
I have 12 years of experience as a violin tutor, teaching students from different backgrounds including school students, college learners, and working professionals. I am dedicated to helping students grow in their musical journey and develop a strong interest in music. My teaching philosophy is based on simplicity, patience, and structured learning.
I believe that every student can learn violin with the right guidance and consistent practice. I start with strong basics such as posture, bowing technique, rhythm, and note reading, and then gradually guide students towards advanced lessons. I use simple explanations and practical exercises to make learning easy and effective.
I have successfully taught more than 150 students, many of whom have developed confidence and improved their skills. I maintain a friendly and supportive environment. My aim is to make violin learning enjoyable and meaningful.

I believe that learning violin should be enjoyable, structured, and easy to understand. My teaching method includes real-life examples and case studies that help students relate music to everyday experiences. This makes concepts like rhythm, pitch, and expression easier to learn.
I focus strongly on fundamentals such as posture, scales, bowing techniques, and tone production. I teach in a gradual and organised way, ensuring students understand each step before moving ahead. This approach helps students build a strong and lasting foundation.
Communication is an essential part of my teaching. I maintain a friendly and interactive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and asking questions. I provide clear explanations and continuous feedback to support their improvement.
I follow values like honesty, dedication, and responsibility. Along with violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic composition. My goal is to help students enjoy music while developing strong technical and theoretical skills.
