About Shreya

Hello! My name is Shreya Pandey, and I am an aspiring computer science enthusiast currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering. As a pre-final year student, I have developed a deep interest in the vast realm of computer science, constantly seeking opportunities to explore new concepts and expand my knowledge.
I find immense joy in unraveling the complexities of programming languages like Java, Python, Kotlin, SQL and I have honed my skills through various projects in the app development domain, particularly as an Android developer. Beyond my technical pursuits, I have discovered a parallel passion for teaching and helping others understand the beauty of computer science. I strongly believe in the power of education to empower individuals and transform lives. Sharing my knowledge and guiding fellow learners in their journey towards mastering computer science concepts brings me great satisfaction.

About the lesson

As a passionate and experienced part-time tutor, I have had the opportunity to guide and mentor a group of 13 students in their learning journey. My teaching approach centers around breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable parts that ensure a deep understanding of each topic. I firmly believe in the power of hands-on learning and the quote, 'I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, but when I do, I understand.'
To facilitate this understanding, I encourage active participation from my students. Alongside thorough explanations, I provide practical examples and interactive exercises to reinforce learning. By assigning relevant homework and challenging assignments, I enable students to apply their knowledge and gain a deeper comprehension of the subject matter.
To gauge their progress, I conduct short tests to assess their understanding and identify areas that require special attention. This allows me to tailor my teaching to their individual needs and provide targeted support.
By instilling a love for learning, promoting critical thinking, and fostering a supportive environment, I strive to empower my students with a strong foundation in the subject and the confidence to tackle new challenges. I am dedicated to helping them unlock their potential and succeed in their academic pursuits.
