Hi! I’m a passionate and experienced primary school teacher with over 16 years of teaching experience, particularly in KS2, including several years in Year 6. My teaching style is engaging and interactive. I enjoy using games and activities to make learning fun and memorable, which helps students retain information more effectively. I believe in adapting my approach to suit each learner's needs.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m a passionate and experienced primary school teacher with over 16 years of teaching experience, particularly in KS2, including several years in Year 6. I specialise in SATs preparation, focusing on both maths and reading, and have successfully supported many pupils in achieving their best. Alongside my classroom teaching, I’ve tutored Year 6 students for several years, helping them build confidence and master key skills needed for their exams. I also offer tutoring for other KS2 year groups, tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of each student.

My teaching style is engaging and interactive. I enjoy using games and activities to make learning fun and memorable, which helps students retain information more effectively. I believe in adapting my approach to suit each learner's needs. I always start by understanding what the student feels they need to work on, and I combine this with my own assessments to tailor lessons that build on their strengths and target any areas that need improvement. My aim is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking on challenges.
