About Leo
Maths has always been a subject I’ve enjoyed because of the way problems can be broken down and solved step by step. What I find even more rewarding, though, is helping others reach that same “lightbulb moment” when a tricky idea finally clicks. I want to teach because I know how challenging maths can feel at times, believe me I study it at university! I believe that with the right guidance, every student can make progress and even begin to develop a passion for the subject. Tutoring gives me the chance to share strategies that make concepts clearer, boost confidence, and turn frustration into understanding. My lessons are focused on making maths approachable, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to keep improving.

I aim to make Maths as clear and approachable as possible by breaking down complex ideas into simple, logical steps. I like to keep my lessons interactive — I encourage students to ask questions, explore different ways of thinking, and build confidence through practice. A typical session lasts about an hour, though I'm happy to adapt the length and pace depending on what works best for the student. I also like to include a short recap at the end, so key ideas are reinforced and carried forward into future lessons. My tutoring is designed for GCSE and A-Level (or equivalent) students who want to strengthen their foundations, prepare effectively for exams, or simply feel more confident in their Maths skills. Every lesson is tailored to the individual, ensuring progress is consistent and rewarding.
