About Ashleigh
I am a born and bred New Zealander, but I am currently living in Australia. I love to teach because I enjoy helping others make sense and feel confident with ideas that were challenging. I am passionate about lifelong learning and I take that approach in my work too. I am friendly and have a sense of humor and really enjoy getting to know my students so that you can feel welcome and comfortable during the lessons.

I have experience as a Maths and Science teacher for students aged 12-18. I use a variety of techniques during the lessons including etymology, mental maths skills and linking ideas to the real world to make it relevant to you. The lessons are typically 50 minutes long and follow the "we do, you do" model so that we can build your skills together, then I assist you to practice independently.
