About Haoyu
I am currently a sophomore in high school taking an accelerated math course (honors Algebra II). As a high school student and a recently graduated middle school student, I understand how people feel about math and I believe I can solve their problems and help many people improve. I have recently been tutoring middle school students at my school and believe I am a good fit to be your next tutor!

My lessons focus on helping students feel confident in math by explaining ideas in easy, understandable ways. I start by reviewing what the student is working on, then go through examples together, and finish with independent practice. I work well with middle school and Algebra students who need patient support and step-by-step guidance. I have been doing middle school tutoring at my own school.
