"I am Kaushik Narayanan, a Carnatic flute artist with over 10 years of experience, including performing as part of the band 'Avadhuthas' on various stages. My journey with the flute began at a young age, driven by a passion for the intricate rhythms and melodies of Carnatic music. Over the years, I have honed my skills in both traditional and contemporary styles, incorporating creativity and expression into my performances. Now, I am eager to pass on my knowledge, offering personalized lessons to help students master the flute, understand the depth of Carnatic music, and develop their own unique style

In my Carnatic flute classes, I offer personalized, step-by-step guidance to help students of all levels, from beginners to advanced, master this beautiful instrument. The lessons cover essential techniques such as fingering, breath control, and raga (melody) improvisation, while also delving into the nuances of Carnatic music theory. Whether you're looking to build a strong foundation or refine your performance skills, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. Drawing from my 10+ years of experience as a performer with the band 'Avadhuthas,' I encourage students to explore creative expression while staying rooted in tradition. I offer a free demo class to give you a glimpse of my teaching style and approach.
