  • When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

I started my fitness journey when I was 12 years old when my parents put me in Karate. Martial arts movies definitely inspired me. A few years later I knew that in order to get better at martial arts I needed to eat the right foods, and become fit for combat so I started to look up ways to develop my strength and cardio. In high school I started competing as a wrestler and won my first few matches and competed up until CEGEP. I also did a few BJJ tournaments and amateur MMA fights along the way. I worked in another industry for the past ten years but I knew that if I truly wanted to serve others with talents God has given me then I needed to do this full-time.
  • What makes you passionate about your subject?

I loved that I can improve weaknesses and set goals for myself and see what I am really made out of. I am probably more aware of my limitations now than when I was younger, but the truth remains that you can always do something that would bring you closer to where you are called to be. I truly believe that no matter where you start you can make choices to make your life a little bit better, so long as you are humble enough to learn.
  • What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

I love seeing others shine and thrive and having the honour to be part of the process. Seeing others win feels much better than if I was winning myself. From the watchmaker in his 50's who gets up at 6am to workout at 7am, the 29 year old dance instructor who wants to compete in boxing, or the commercial real estate executive hitting pads after a stressful day at work, every single one of them taking the time to inch away towards their best selves, what is there not to love?
  • Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

All of my role models were teachers, coaches and wise. The only athletes and entrepreneurs that really inspired me are the ones who were great in and off the field. Great people, as well as great performers. If you need a specific list, I would probably say number one would be my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Whom of which I still have much to learn from as he is sanctifying me day by day. George St Pierre, for his strategic and tactically sound approach to something chaotic as fighting. My wrestling coach for her belief in me from when I started training with her and many more.
  • What are your keys to success?

Step 1 - Find out where you want to go or where you are called to go
Step 2 - Work towards it consistently
Step 3 - Solve roadblocks through either research, asking a expert, or trial and error (PROBLEMS WILL ARISE)
Step 4 -Continue to work towards it and stay hopeful, stay the course(Continue Steps 3 as required)
Step 5 -Win (Start back at Step 1)
This is only possible if you just do not give up and stay focused. Remember that if your calling comes from a place of service, you will succeed.
