About Lori
Strained vocal cords usually stem from poor breathing habits. Proper resonance changes everything. I provide recorded warm-up routines for every student to utilize during their daily home practice. These resources follow the standards set by my ARCT certification.
You will find that regular application leads to consistent vocal clarity. Practice makes the voice stronger.

Performing across Canada for 10 years gave me a real sense of what it takes to stand on a stage. I transition that stage experience into daily instruction after 13 years of playing.
Breathing control is where I always begin with new singers. Tone and resonance require a deep understanding of physical mechanics. I have helped many students with exam preparation and sight singing. Microphone technique is a vital skill for anyone wanting to record their work.
Diction and articulation follow once the foundation is set. I treat every voice with the same care I applied to my own training. It is just about the music.
