About Joshua
Hi, I’m Josh – a dedicated tutor and mentor helping students unlock their potential across academics, school entrance, and career development.
Background:
I studied Maths, Economics and Philosophy at St Paul’s School and currently work at EY in International Tax & Corporate Transactions, where I’ve worked on high-profile deals.
Alongside my role, I’ve sat and passed 12 out of 15 ACA exams first time (3 further exams until qualification as a chartered accountant), and I coach students outside of work – from 11+ through to apprenticeships and early careers.

What I Offer:
• 11+ and 13+ Entrance Prep (Maths, English verbal/non-verbal reasoning, interview technique)
• Career mentoring (CVs, applications, interviews, and personal statements – ideal for top apprenticeships, finance/consulting, or uni routes)
Real-life student outcomes:
• Helped several Year 7 student prepare for St Paul’s entrance exams, building their reasoning skills and interview confidence.
• Coached a Year 13 student into an investment banking apprenticeship, guiding them through CV writing, commercial awareness, and mock interviews.
• Worked with a student applying to a major accountancy practice – they secured an offer after we fine-tuned their application and built confidence in assessment centres.
My Coaching Philosophy:
I offer more than just academic tutoring. I guide students through the full journey – from school entrance to career choices, helping them build confidence, make smart decisions, and develop independence. Having taken the route myself – from St Paul’s School, through a competitive Big 4 apprenticeship, to passing professional qualifications and working on major corporate deals – I know what it takes at each step.
