About Evan

I have a wealth of fashion industry knowledge, as the Co-Founder and Creative Director of a London based brand since 2019. I graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in 2015 and then an MA in womenswear in 2017. I have a broad range of industry experience having worked for notable fashion brands including Vivienne Westwood, Simone Rocha and Supriya Lele. My experience has allowed me to work on a wide range of projects, from performance looks for notable musicians including Madonna and Jennie Kim, to brand projects for the likes of Zara, Moncler and Victorias Secret.

I have been tutoring students on and off since 2015 and have returned to CSM several times as a guest lecturer. In 2022, I began tutoring groups and individual students, providing a comprehensive garment making course, allowing students to improve their design ability through improving their knowledge of garment construction.

About the lesson

I have extensive experience working in the fashion industry in both a design and a technical capacity and also in tutoring. I have tutored students across a variety of levels from beginner (pre-foundation) to advanced (post-graduate level) so I am well equipped to guide you on your chosen area of focus.

I specialise in the technical side of garment design and focus a lot on making skills, sewing, creative and technical draping and pattern making and how this can better your design development. Additionally, I am happy to guide you through concept and idea realisation, research and mood boarding, as well as portfolio consultation if you are looking to create a professional portfolio or strong application for a course.

During our initial consultation, we will discuss your needs and what you would like to achieve through our sessions. Together, we will create a personalised plan focusing on the areas that you would like to improve on in order to meet your creative goals.

Classes can be held in person at my design studio in Vauxhall or online to accommodate your schedule.
