About Riki

I’m Riccardo, an Economics tutor and former IB Economics student, now studying Business in London. Having completed the IB, I developed strong analytical and essay-writing skills in both micro and macroeconomics, as well as a clear understanding of how to approach high-scoring exam answers. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience in financial analysis through roles in professional firms, which has given me practical insight into how economic concepts apply in real business contexts. This allows me to teach Economics not only from a theoretical perspective, but also through real-world examples that help students understand and remember key ideas. My teaching approach is structured, patient, and tailored to each student’s goals — whether they are preparing for IB, GCSE, A level exams, or simply want to strengthen their understanding of Economics.

About the lesson

I teach Economics with a clear, structured, and student-focused approach. My goal is to make complex ideas in micro- and macroeconomics easy to understand by using real-life examples, simplified explanations, and step-by-step reasoning. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, whether they are preparing for IB, GCSE, A level exams, or simply want to strengthen their understanding of economic principles. A typical session lasts 60 minutes and combines theory, worked examples, past-paper questions, and exam-technique training. I place strong emphasis on building analytical skills and helping students learn how to structure high-scoring exam answers — a key requirement for subjects like IB Economics. I have completed the International Baccalaureate and have experience tutoring students in various subjects, including Economics. Having studied both in Italy and the UK, I understand the challenges students face and guide them through difficult concepts with patience and clarity. My lessons are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced students. Whether you need help understanding economic models, improving your essay writing, or preparing for exams, I create a supportive and organised learning environment to help you progress with confidence.
