Hello! I am Amaechi, a passionate and qualified English and Reading tutor with over four years of experience helping students achieve academic success. About the lesson

As an experienced English and Reading tutor, my approach is student-centered, interactive, and aims to meet individual learning needs. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit their pace, learning style, and academic goals.

I use a combination of direct instruction, guided reading, grammar drills, comprehension exercises, and creative writing tasks. My goal is to make lessons engaging by incorporating real-life examples, storytelling, and visual aids. For exam preparation (WAEC, BECE), I focus on past questions, timed practice, and confidence-building techniques.

Each lesson typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s schedule and attention span. During this time, I ensure a balance between theory, practice, and feedback.

I hold a degree in Education English and have over four years of experience tutoring secondary school students. I’ve successfully helped students improve their reading fluency, grammar accuracy, and writing skills—many of whom have gone on to pass their external exams with excellent results.

My lessons are designed for secondary school students preparing for WAEC, BECE, and internal exams, as well as those who simply want to improve their reading and English language skills.
