About Asis
Hi! I’m an English instructor and educator based in Canada, with experience teaching students from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. I currently work as an instructor in British Columbia, which has given me extensive experience explaining concepts in simple, clear, and easy-to-understand language, especially for students whose first language is not English.
I have also taken the IELTS exam myself and achieved Band 8.5 in both Speaking and Listening, along with Band 7 in Reading and Writing. Because I have personally gone through the IELTS journey, I understand the challenges students face—from hesitation and lack of vocabulary to nervousness while speaking.
What I enjoy most about teaching English is helping students move from “I understand English, but I’m afraid to speak” to communicating naturally and confidently.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and practical. I don’t expect you to speak perfect English from day one. My role is to understand where you are now, identify what is holding you back, and help you improve step by step.

My English lessons are designed for students who want to speak more confidently and use English naturally in real-life situations. I believe English is best learned by actually using it, so my classes are interactive, practical, and focused on communication rather than simply memorizing grammar rules.
Every student has different goals, so I personalize my lessons according to your current level and the areas you want to improve. We can work on speaking and fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence formation, everyday grammar, professional communication, or IELTS preparation.
A typical lesson includes conversation practice, learning useful vocabulary and expressions, correcting common grammar and pronunciation mistakes, and applying what you learn through real-life situations. I encourage students to speak as much as possible so they gradually become comfortable expressing themselves without constantly translating in their head.
Having personally achieved Band 8.5 in IELTS Speaking and Listening, I also understand what strong communication skills require and can help IELTS students improve their speaking strategies, fluency, vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, working professionals, newcomers to English-speaking environments, and IELTS students. Whether you want English for everyday conversations, work, studies, travel, or simply want to stop hesitating when you speak, we can build a learning plan around your goals.
Most importantly, my classes are a comfortable and judgment-free space to practice. Making mistakes is part of learning—you don’t need perfect English to start speaking. You just need to start, and we’ll improve it together.
