About Mahwish
Hello, I'm Mahwish, a passionate and dedicated English tutor based in Edmonton, Alberta. I have a strong academic background and a C1 level of English proficiency, with several years of experience helping students improve their English skills. As someone who is bilingual myself, I truly understand the challenges and excitement of learning a new language. My goal is not just to teach English, but to help you build real confidence to use it in your daily life, studies, and work here in Canada. I am patient, friendly, and very encouraging. I create a safe space where you can make mistakes and learn from them. I have worked with students from different ages and cultural backgrounds, and I love seeing my students grow from hesitant to fluent. Your success is my biggest motivation. Language learning must be smooth and fun. I always make sure to initially assess the problematic parts of my student. After that I start working on those weak parts. We take everything slowly and in accordance with the need of the student. I could help everyone with basics of English language such as from grades 3 to 10.
