About María
I’m María. I am an enthusiastic and motivated teacher, ready to help you prepare for your GCSE French exams. I believe languages are alive and should be learnt through practice, so my lessons focus on active speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I have spent almost 9 years living in the UK, teaching in state and independent schools, and running adult-education courses. Now, I work full-time helping students like you, offering personalised lessons tailored to your needs and exam goals. I have a B1 level in French and extensive experience preparing students for both French and Spanish exams. My students have consistently achieved excellent results, thanks to a variety of engaging resources and structured, practice-based lessons.

I offer GCSE French support lessons for students looking to improve their grades and confidence. Although I’m not a native speaker, I have a B1 French level and extensive experience preparing students for French and Spanish exams. My students have consistently achieved excellent results. I use a variety of engaging resources to practise speaking, listening, writing, and reading, tailoring each lesson to the student’s needs and learning style.

I am a beginner in Spanish and María has taken me through all the basics of the language with great clarity and patience and with a perfect mix of structured grammar and vocabulary practice. Free speaking in the class has also helped me to gain confidence in expressing myself (really simply for now!) I can heartily recommend María as the right teacher for you.
The most important thing about Maria is that she knows how to teach languages (I would even say any language) and can guide you through it all. On top of this she creates the lessons and exercises adapted to you personally and you always feel close to her and well taken care of.
