About Philippe-Antoine
I am a recent graduate from the Master's program in Philosophy at the University of Ottawa and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy with Minor in Language and Literature from Carleton University. I am fluent in French and English and have three years' experience as a teaching assistant in both languages. I have also been an ESL tutor with Frontier College since March 2019.

My methods vary depending on the subject as well as the individual student's level and needs. I am very patient and am a skilled communicator. My aim is always to ensure that a student has a strong grasp on the material by encouraging creative and critical thinking.
My teaching philosophy is that we tend to learn by doing rather than simply listening. I believe that the most effective way to bring about improvement is to give students the opportunity to exercise their knowledge by questions and exercises and to have them reason their way to recognizing their errors.
