About Cam
I have a background in high school-focused tuition. This means I have spent several years engaged with the senior NCEA curriculum, going through exams and internals alike. Originally from Southland, I have supported students all over the country, including Christchurch, Auckland, and here in Wellington. I've loved teaching for as long as I can remember. There is something so special about helping students unlock their potential and understand what they're capable of. The shifts in perspective I've seen have been astounding - the awesome grades are a bonus.

Mathematics can be challenging. Teachers can move quickly, content can get murky, and concepts can be hard to grasp in the moment. Students can often feel left in the dark! I pride myself on my ability to relate to students, expressing complex information in simple terms. My structured approach to teaching ensures we fill the gaps together for a strong foundational understanding - unlocking those so-called "lightbulb" moments. Lessons will be tailored completely to your needs and style of learning. In the past, I've found a mixture of discussion and teaching moments paired with practice exercises tends to work best. We'll ensure a range of relevant content is covered, preparing you to face exams with confidence!
