About QING (also known as ANNA)
I am a native speaker of Mandarin language with more than five years voluntary teaching experience in the classroom and in the one-to-one tuition. I have published a few articles in Mandarin in local newspapers in China and in UK-CHINESE TIMES, the most popular British Chinese newspaper in England. I am therefore very proud I can offer a good quality teaching of Mandarin including listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. I have achieved a Master degree qualification in MA Tourism Management at University of Derby. I have also achieved an Accredited 150 hours TEFL Master Course with TEFL UK, the leading TEFL teaching specialist in the UK. Regarding my teaching experience, I have nine years successful work experience in Leicester City Council 13-19 education support sector. I have also been voluntarily delivering a one-to-one teaching (Mandarin) for more than five years. I create a very friendly environment for teaching and learning. I tailor each lesson to suit the learner's level and requirements. I have also been teaching the Mandarin class at the Chinese Christian church for three years. I have been involving in designing the course, choosing text books, planning each lessons, teaching the class, delivering the assessment, organising activities and explaining the cultural aspects related to the language. My approach to tutoring is always determined by an assessment of the student's needs and their levels. I would like to teach in an engaging and inspiring way with scenarios and cultural awareness. I am able to provide the tutorial either online via medias or one-to-one in person. I look forward to working with you to achieve a success in Mandarin language learning.
