About Afsath
I am Afsath, a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher. I have completed master's and bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Also I hold Bachelor of Education in Mathematics. More recently I am certified in Mastering IGCSE and A LEVEL. I have integrated AI tools into my teaching having completed development program on AI for teachers. I have been providing 1 -to - 1 and small group Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, including past paper practice, mock tests, assessment support and individual learning support. I help IGCSE students identify and overcome their mathematics learning gaps.

I am a qualified Mathematics teacher with an M.Sc. in Mathematics and B.Ed. in Mathematics, with over 7 years of teaching experience in school and online settings.
I provide personalized online Mathematics tuition for students in Grades 5–10, with particular experience supporting students following British Curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I first identify the student's learning gaps and then plan lessons according to their individual needs. I use clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice, problem-solving activities, worksheets and regular assessment to build confidence and mathematical understanding.
For examination students, I provide structured preparation using past-paper questions, mock tests and mark schemes. I also give regular feedback so that students understand their mistakes and know how to improve.
I aim to create a supportive and encouraging online learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing confidence in Mathematics.
