About Alabi

Hello! My name is Kehinde Alabi, and I’m a Maths graduate with a strong passion for education and helping others succeed. I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers, but what drives me even more is seeing students grow in confidence and develop a real understanding of mathematical concepts. I decided to become a tutor because I believe that with the right support, every student can overcome their struggles in Maths and even learn to enjoy it. Throughout my own academic journey, I came to understand how powerful good teaching can be — and I aim to provide that same level of support to my students. With over 5 years of experience tutoring students from KS3 to A-Level, I’ve helped learners of all abilities—from those who need extra help catching up to high-performing students aiming for top grades. I’m patient, approachable, and committed to making lessons clear, engaging, and tailored to each individual’s learning style. Teaching is not just a job for me; it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’m here to help you build your skills, boost your confidence, and achieve your goals in Maths.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is centred around clarity, patience, and building strong problem-solving skills. I use step-by-step explanations, visual aids, and targeted practice questions to help students grasp core mathematical concepts at their own pace. I always adapt my methodology to suit each learner’s style—whether they need help understanding theory, solving complex problems, or preparing for exams. Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, but I can offer extended sessions when needed. I aim to keep lessons interactive and focused, ensuring students leave each session with improved understanding and confidence. I hold a degree in Mathematics and have over 5 years of experience tutoring students at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level. I’ve helped students of varying abilities, including those struggling with basics and high-achievers aiming for top exam grades. Lessons are suitable for students aged 11–18, and I offer both online and in-person sessions (within London). Whether you're aiming to improve grades, build confidence, or prepare for specific exams, I’m here to support your success in Maths.
