I am an experienced music teacher , specialinsing in GCSE, A level, and Music Theory up to Grade 8. Brass instruments, at all levels and piano up to Grade 5.

About SUSAN
I am a fully qualified teacher (BMus, PGCE, PGdip) with many years experience as a GCSE Examiner and instrumental teacher and class teacher. Many of my former pupils have gone on to play professionally and/or teach.
I like teaching music to allabiities, ages and levels and making lovely music.

I teach music at your pace, making sure you are confident in your ability to play peices, and if needs be, revisit areas that you are not sure of, lots of times if necessary.
I expest to see steady slow progress however I am aware we all lead busy lifes so sometimes we have to be flexible about levels of commitment.
My pupils are from age 8 upwards with slots available in the day for students that wish to have a lesson then.
Lessons are normally 30 mins long at my home although I can do on line.
We study a wide repetoire of music and concentrate on developing technical skills. If you want to do grades I can prepare and enter you for them. If there is a performance you need help with, or just want to learn a musical instrument then please get in touch.
Theory lessons, GCSE and A level support is also available.
Lessons cost £30 an hour and £15.00 a half hour.
