About Ali
I am currently completing an MEng in Mechanical Engineering (predicted First Class) and hold A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, French and AS Further Mathematics. I have experience tutoring GCSE Maths, Science and preparing pupils for the 11+ grammar school entrance exams. I’ve taught both one-to-one and in small groups, helping students build confidence, improve problem-solving and strengthen exam technique.

Italian
As a native Italian speaker, I provide engaging and personalised Italian lessons for beginners through to advanced learners, including GCSE and A-Level students. My lessons focus on building fluency, improving grammar, and developing confidence in speaking, reading and writing. I use a variety of techniques, including interactive conversation, structured exercises, listening practice and targeted feedback, to ensure lessons are dynamic and effective. Each session is 60 minutes, with flexibility for shorter or longer sessions depending on your needs. I have experience teaching students of different ages and levels, both one-to-one and in small groups, and I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s pace and goals. Lessons are ideal for school students, university learners or anyone wanting to improve their Italian for work, travel or personal interest! My approach is patient, supportive and focused on real understanding, ensuring you make consistent progress while enjoying the learning process.
