Hi, I'm an experienced native Japanese teacher based in Dublin.
I've been teaching Japanese to English speakers in Ireland for over 3 years, both at schools and through online private lessons.
I love both learning and teaching languages, and I'd love to be part of your learning journey.
Drawing on my own language-learning experience and my understanding of the differences between Japanese and English (and/or Korean), I'll show you how to use each word naturally and I won't stop explaining until it really clicks for you.

A bit about me

I'm originally from Kobe, Japan, and have been living in Ireland for around four years. I previously worked in roles where I used Japanese, English, and Korean, but eventually found my true passion in teaching Japanese — and I absolutely love what I do!
I recently completed my Master's in Marketing, and I also love creating visual learning materials to make Japanese easier to understand and remember.
Outside of teaching, I love travelling, and I've recently started learning the violin!

Whatever your reason for learning Japanese, I'd love to help you enjoy the process and make progress towards your goals.

About the lesson

In our first lesson, we'll get to know each other!
Let's talk about your goals, interests, and current level, and I can find the best approach for you. Based on this, I'll prepare personalised lessons and materials to support your progress.
