About Jessica

I’ve been nursing for 10 years, am critical care trained and have experience in all areas of nursing, specialising in intensive care and cancer. I hold a masters of advanced nursing practice from the University of Melbourne as well as graduate certificates in Intensive Care, Cancer and Palliative Care along with a certificate IV in training and assessment. I am a nurse educator with experience in undergraduate, post graduate and continuing professional developments I have also taught in the Bachelor of Nursing at a tertiary level.

I love teaching and derive great joy seeing my students develop into confident and knowledgeable nurses.

About the lesson

I can offer 1:1 support with assignment writing, career planning, clinical skills, patient assessment, medications, grad year interviews, basic and advanced life support.
I will tailor our lessons to the type of assistance required and desired outcomes. I use a multi-modal approach to adult learning to suit all type of learners and will set out a personalised learning plan for each student.

Please consult with me before booking in this lesson time as I am not always available immediately.
This lesson is usually done via phone or zoom. During this lesson I seek to gain an understanding of each student and what they require before setting out a plan. My most common requests for assistance are outlined below.

Assignment Planning
I will assist you with a plan to get started on your assignment based on the marking rubrics to obtain maximum marks.
For this type of assistance I would generally recommend:
- 1x hr lesson for review of assignment and creation of plan done independently.
- 1 x hr lesson for face to face discussion and review of plan

Assignment Reviews
I will review your work and provide comments and guidance within the document on areas for improvement.
- As a guide I generally need 1hr for every 1,000 words.

Please provide instructions and marking rubric for your assignments.

For work completed independently, I will start work once lesson is booked and paid for. I do not complete work between 5pm-9am.
