About Chris

I am an Oxford University graduate available for tutoring in a wide range of subjects, with extensive experience teaching Maths (primary level up to A-Level Further and IB); 11+ and Common Entrance exams; and university applications, particularly Oxbridge and the Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA). I have a year's experience teaching English as a Foreign Language in China, with a TEFL qualification, so am also available for EFL teaching from beginner level up to IELTS and TOEFL. I am available for online tutoring, home visits, or tutoring in a local café. Tutoring can also be in groups or individual. I am committed to providing tutoring which is well adapted to the needs of the individual student - the first lesson will be spent finding their strengths and weaknesses so that we can focus on improving the most important areas in a way which works for the student. Standard price for in-person class is £50 per hour. A per-class (not per-hour) supplement may be added for travel time depending on location. Online classes are £40 per hour. 10% discount for 5 hour bundle, 20% discount for 10 hour bundle as follows: IN-PERSON: 5 hours £225, 10 hours £400 (excl. supplement) ONLINE: 5 hours £180, 10 hours £320
