About Alexandra
I have held tutoring and teaching assistant positions for a total of 4 years and love the work. I am a former college athlete (Field Hockey), National Merit finalist, and current Fulbright semifinalist with a biology degree from Haverford, a top 25 liberal arts college. I enjoy baking, cooking, yoga, skiing, and the outdoors. I am currently working while I await graduate school decisions and am happy to share my experiences as a STEM student and aspiring scientist. I look forward to helping you learn!

I have experience tutoring a wide age and subject range, from college peers in STEM to preschoolers learning shapes, but I enjoy tutoring high school science classes the most. I tutor Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (from intro to AP/Honors), as well as Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. I help students to identify gaps in understanding, complete assignments, prepare for tests and quizzes, and develop study strategies for continued success.
