About Alejandro
I am completing a PhD in Mathematics at the University of Glasgow and I have several years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have worked with students who are confident in maths and also with students who really dislike it or feel lost. My aim is to make the subject less stressful and help the student understand what they are doing, not just copy a method.

I try to keep my lessons relaxed and clear. Usually I start by asking what the student is struggling with, because in maths the problem is often not the last exercise, but something earlier that was never fully understood. Then we go through the topic step by step, with examples and practice questions.
A normal lesson is 1 hour, although I can do longer sessions for exam preparation or coursework support. I can help with school, college and university-level maths and statistics, including algebra, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, probability and statistics.
