About Cemre

Hello, my name is Cemre. I am an experienced Physics and STEM educator with more than 12 years of teaching at secondary and high school levels, both in Türkiye and abroad. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physics Education and a Master’s degree in STEM Education from Middle East Technical University. In 2024, I was honored to be selected by the Anadolu Foundation’s “Değerli Öğretmenim” project as one of Türkiye’s 24 outstanding educators making a difference in students’ lives. This recognition reflects my dedication to student-centered, values-based teaching and my passion for innovative learning approaches. Beyond classroom teaching, I have guided students to remarkable success in national and international competitions such as the International STEM Olympiad, Sir Isaac Newton Physics Exam (Canada), Kangaroo Mathematics and Science Competition, Owlypia (UK), and NASA Space Apps Challenge. Many of my students have achieved top national and global rankings under my mentorship. As a professional educator, I am committed to inspiring confidence, building academic excellence, and nurturing creativity. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and with the right guidance, they can enjoy learning, overcome challenges, and achieve outstanding results.

About the lesson

My name is Cemre. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in STEM Education. For more than 12 years, I have been teaching Physics, STEM/STEAM, and Science to students of all levels, from middle school to university.

Teaching method and techniques:
I follow a student-centered approach. I adapt my teaching to each learner’s level, goals, and learning style. I use interactive methods, real-life examples, experiments, and problem-solving activities to make complex concepts clear and engaging.

A typical lesson plan:
I usually begin with a short review of the previous topic, followed by an introduction of new concepts. We then work through examples and practice problems together. Finally, I assign small tasks or projects to reinforce learning and encourage independent thinking.

What sets me apart:
My background in both Physics and STEM Education allows me to combine deep subject knowledge with innovative teaching techniques. I also focus on project-based learning, helping students prepare for science fairs, competitions, and academic projects.
