About Abbie
I am an enthusiastic, hard-working, and high-achieving individual with a passion for music education, driven by a desire to make a positive impact on students’ learning experiences, development, and results. Motivated by the knowledge that I'm making an impact, I find teaching to be a greatly rewarding and fulfilling job, and have previously received much positive feedback from my students about their experiences, both in terms of their enjoyment as well as their learning outcomes/progression.

I'm a friendly and experienced pianist and instrument tutor, with a passion for helping others develop their musical ability and knowledge. I've been playing piano for 16 years and have over 8 years of piano + music theory tutoring experience, working with students of all ages, from beginner to intermediate level. Typically offering half-hour lessons (but happy to accommodate 20-60 minute sessions), I'm a flexible and adaptable tutor, tailoring my teaching approach to work best with the student and reach their desired goals, whether this be working towards ABRSM grade exams or learning for enjoyment/personal development. I have a first class undergraduate Music degree and have recently completed a Masters in Music, and I am qualified to Grade 8 in both Piano and Music Theory, and Grade 7 in Piano Accompanying; I also have an enhanced DBS check.
