About Clodagh
I have over 10 years experience teaching both the piano & trumpet. I have a true passion for playing music and passing these skills on.
I have completed all grades with The Royal Irish Academy of Music receiving 'distinction' marks in all exams. & was also accepted into the Irish College of Music & Arts.
I am a kind, friendly, patient and approachable music teacher. I believe that the best way to foster a great learning environment is to treat all students with respect & kindness, and to just have fun!

For starters, my lessons are tailored to whatever the student needs. No two lessons are the same as no two students are the same. Ability, learning techniques, learning challenges all have to be taken into account. This creates a more meaningful and effective learning experience. It fosters a passion for music, enhances skill development, and empowers students to achieve their musical aspirations.
I also teach many genres of music during lessons like pop, jazz, soul, folk etc. I am of the belief that not many beginners are motivated by the music of Bach & Beethoven! Students are most motivated when they are learning an instrument through music they actually like to listen to.
