About Hina

I am a qualified Science Lecturer with an MSc in Science from the University of Hertfordshire and a PGCE (UK postgraduate teaching qualification) from the University of Huddersfield, with over 10 years’ teaching experience in the UK and Pakistan. I currently work in a UK FE/HE college, teaching Science to students aged 14 through to adults.

About the lesson

I offer structured, exam-focused Chemistry tutoring with clear explanations and plenty of guided practice, helping students build confidence as well as strong subject knowledge. I regularly check understanding through questions and short assessments, so progress is clear and measurable. Lessons are 60 minutes long and tailored to the student’s ability, learning style, and exam goals. With an MSc, a PGCE, and over 10 years of teaching experience, I support students studying GCSE and A-Level Chemistry at secondary school and college. I am experienced in teaching across multiple exam boards, including AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and Cambridge, and I focus closely on exam technique, specification content, and common examiner pitfalls to help students achieve the best possible results.
