About Paige
I am the owner and creator of a small independent sewing business in Piedmont, SC. My journey into the world of textiles began as a self-taught passion, which eventually evolved into a professional career specializing in complex bag making, crafty upcycling, and custom upholstery.
Having navigated the learning curve myself, I understand exactly where beginners struggle. I’ve spent years experimenting with every shape and size of bag imaginable and tackled large upholstery projects including car seats, jet skis, living room chairs, and boats. Sewing isn't just a job for me; it is a daily joy and a core part of my lifestyle.
I am deeply passionate about passing this craft on to others because I believe sewing is a 'dying' skill that deserves to be revitalized. In a world of fast fashion, there is something incredibly empowering about creating something durable and beautiful with your own hands. My goal is to help you keep this art form alive by sharing the tips, tricks, and 'pro' secrets I’ve learned through thousands of hours behind the machine.

About the lessons & Teaching Method
I am a passionate seamstress dedicated to helping you unlock your creative potential through fabric and thread. Whether you are a total beginner intimidated by your new sewing machine or an advanced maker looking to master complex bag structures, intricate patchwork, or upholstery projects, my lessons are tailored entirely to your goals.
My Approach:
I believe in 'learning by doing.' Instead of dry technical drills, we work on tangible projects—like a custom tote bag or upholstered seat cushion—so you finish every session with a new skill and a finished product.
What a typical lesson looks like:
Machine Confidence: Troubleshooting tension, threading, and maintenance.
Skill Building: Mastering straight lines, curves, and specialized seams.
Specialized Focus: Deep dives into bag hardware, interfacing/precision patchwork cutting and piecing/materials and hardware used in upholstery.
Problem Solving: Learning how to read/draft patterns and fix mistakes (the most important part of sewing!).
Who are these lessons for?
I teach everyone from hobbyists, to DIY specialists, or those looking to start their own handmade business.
