About Luke
My teaching approach centers on building confidence, improving pitch accuracy, and nurturing vocal expression. For both The Fiddler and The Music Major, I tailor techniques to their unique strengths and goals. We focus on targeted breathing exercises that support vocal control and stamina, essential for powerful, sustained performances. Vocal health routines are a key part of our work together, ensuring the voice remains strong and flexible. To sharpen pitch accuracy, I incorporate ear training apps that develop a keen musical ear. Metronomes help keep timing precise, while recording devices allow students to hear their progress objectively. This blend of technology and technique empowers students to take charge of their growth. I encourage expressive freedom, helping each singer connect emotionally with their material. Confidence blossoms through regular, focused practice and positive reinforcement. Ultimately, my goal is to create a supportive space where The Fiddler and The Music Major can flourish vocally and artistically. Every lesson inspires them to reach new heights and enjoy their musical journey fully.

I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I specialize in teaching young children and early teens, creating fun and playful lessons that make learning music a joyful adventure. I use games, movement, and storytelling to help students grasp pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics in a way that feels natural and exciting.
I love introducing my students to folk songs, Disney tunes, and musical theatre pieces that suit their age and vocal development. My approach focuses on building strong technique while keeping the experience light and engaging. Confidence and listening skills grow alongside a genuine love for making music.
Each lesson is designed to be a safe space where young voices can explore freely without pressure. I believe that learning to sing should be fun, exciting, and inspiring for every child. Together, we’ll discover the joy in music and build a foundation that supports a lifetime of singing happiness.
