About Clara

Hello prospective students! I am a passionate language enthusiast with knowledge of English, Spanish, German, and some French. Currently studying in an English-speaking country, I've attained a C2 proficiency level in English (IELTS). Teaching Spanish is not just a profession but a way to stay connected to my roots and share my cultural heritage. Having lived in Austria, Ireland, and Spain, I've had the pleasure of interacting with diverse individuals, fostering my outgoing and social nature. My teaching philosophy revolves around positivity, emphasizing students' strengths and addressing their weaknesses, improving them to boost their confidence. I prioritize their well-being and ensure that our sessions are enjoyable, fostering a conducive learning environment where progress is celebrated and cherished.

About the lesson

In my tutoring approach, I prioritize flexibility and adaptability to cater to each student's unique needs and preferences. I believe that language learning goes beyond grammar and vocabulary, so I incorporate elements of culture and history into my lessons to provide a full language immersion. My activities are designed to be fun and engaging, utilizing various media such as music, videos, games, and drawings to enhance the learning experience, but can also be more academic and serious. With experience tutoring students ranging from small children aged 6 and 8 to older students working towards their high school diploma, I tailor my approach accordingly. Whether it's following their academic program to support their classes or integrating a new textbook based on their preferences, I am committed to facilitating effective learning at all levels.
