I would like to give a clear recommendation for Diego, as he is an extraordinary teacher. He is passionate about what he does and his love of teaching comes out in every class. He has endless patience and great empathy with me as student always. He tailors each class to the evolving level of me - there is a curriculum as we are working with a book but Diego tries to do every class specifically designed for me and includes excellent and targeted course material. I never experienced such a structure and organisational skills with a language teacher or a teacher in general. His approach is to make learning a fun and enjoyable experience and it worked so well for me, that after 1 Year and 4 months of fairly intensive classes (one to two classes per week), I am able to understand, speak and have conversations in Spanish as we just started with the B1 level - having come from a starting point of nearly no Spanish at all!

Diego has the gift of being able to teach without making you feel you are in a class. Often, we had our classes just to exchange while I was on vacation in the mountains or in a car via my Bluetooth as I wished to do it like this. It also gave a 'real world' feel to everything I was learning. When I needed to go on vacation in Spain alone by myself, for example, we spent the first part or the whole of a class on the necessary vocabulary and grammatical structures using role play. Then Diego showed me how to reserve a table in a restaurant and he even called the restaurant, placed me on loudspeaker so I could listen the whole conversation and situation - knowing all the time he was there if I needed him. This is more than appreciated. Furthermore, he is extremely flexible in arranging classes to suit my needs and schedule and when not having class in case of anything I could reach him via WhatsApp.

I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to learning Spanish than with Diego. Since I am nearly just having classes online with Diego (if I am not on vacation in Marbella so we catch up in person) I tried taken other Spanish classes here in Germany but have never met a teacher to equal him. You will not find a better Spanish teacher!
Please never underestimate someone with such a gift and passion about this job of being a teacher with excellent English knowledge just by maybe looking at someone’s age.

Diego is an excellent teacher all round - could not recommend him more. Diego has a personable approach with his students, creates an engaging and fun atmosphere for learning and above all is a skilled linguist across both Spanish and English!

Diego adapted perfectly to my needs. I was studying high school while trying to obtain the PET (Cambridge level B1 English certificate). Diego improved my level of English and specialized me in the format of the exam, which I didn't know. Thanks to him I got my title and I am very grateful. I totally recommend his classes.

He is a very familiar teacher, he helps a lot when it comes to understanding all the grammar, and his intonation is spectacular, one of the best teachers I have ever had.
