I am a native English speaker and have learnt Spanish through studying it at the University of Manchester and living and working for three years in Spain and Mexico. I have a huge passion for the language and all things related to Spanish and Latin American culture.

I am a qualified Spanish Secondary School teacher and I have been a teacher of Spanish in the UK at KS3, GCSE and A Level in schools for four years. As well as my work as a teacher in secondary schools, I have tutored GCSE, A Level and adult students of Spanish. I have specifically worked with students of the AQA specification and have resources and experience with this exam board. I endeavour to make my lessons enjoyable but also focused and relevant to your specific aims. We can work on exam technique, fill in vocabulary gaps, practise specific areas of grammar and work on reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. For GCSE level, I have experience with both Higher and Foundation students and we can work towards getting the best mark you can get, whichever tier you are doing.
